What is marketing?

The term marketing  simply known as attracting customers. But in brief, we can say, Marketing is the process undertaken by a business to promote and sell product or services which company produces. It includes advertising and market research.

Why marketing is required for a business

Marketing is said to be the primary component of business management and Commerce. As it incorporates knowledge of management of exchange relationship and is the business process of identifying, anticipating and satisfying consumers needs and wants.

Positive and negative marketing

They can be two types of marketing one is positive and other is negative one.
Therefore the negative marking is where we put our competitor in a bad light. This type of Marking is mostly used by companies which are already established in market and have gained credible loyalty from its consumers. However, this marketing technique has been condemned many times and being considered as the unethical one. But there are still some business firms who use this marketing technique to provide the LimeLight to their product.
Where is positive marketing is marketing in a idle form, as simply defined above.

There is a very long list of types of marketing we have today. But for Now the mostly used marketing techniques will be explained in this blog.
• The first type of marketing  we come through is paid advertising in which a company produces advertisement for its products by sing a firm to do it for them. It includes advertisements like TVCs and print media advertising.
• Secondly there is cause marketing and cause marketing will link our product or service which we are providing to some social welfare.
• Word of mouth is a marketing technique which is basically based on the reviews of customer about the product or service which you have provided to them. However it is a traditional method of marketing but it is also the most important marketing technique.
• The most popular kind of marketing technique that is nowadays being used is Internet marketing. This is a marketing technique in which your product or service is promoted on various platforms through internet.
